FAQ

Can servers take orders on a phone or handheld?
Yes. Phones get the menu with a slide-up order view, and Dejavoo P1, P8 and P18 handhelds take orders and payments at the table.
What happens when an item runs out mid-service?
Long-press it and mark it sold out for today. It greys out with a Sold out label, and one tap puts it back.
Can I stop staff voiding items without approval?
Yes. Permissions are set per role. Removing a sent item or voiding an order asks for a manager passcode and a reason.
Does the POS keep working if the internet drops?
The menu is cached on each device and order changes queue until the connection returns. Card payments need a connection.
Can I use my own menu photos and prices per channel?
Yes. Each item has its own photo and separate prices for dine-in, to-go, quick, online and each delivery partner.
